He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" Luke 10:27

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba. (Genesis 21:14)

Can you imagine the hurt in Hagar’s eyes as Abraham honored his wife’s wishes and made her, his servant who bared his first child, leave the only home they knew and wander off into the wilderness with only a bottle of water and bread? She had no idea where they were going and what would become of them. If we read further on into the chapter we see that the bottle of water and the small amount of bread doesn’t last long. When all the bread and water is gone Hagar knows it’s only a matter of time before her son will dead so she leaves him under a shrub and she moves forward so she won’t have to watch her son die. As she begins to weep her child weeps. Soon God hears the cries of the boy and an angel of God called out to her to tell her that God heard the cries of the boy and he was going to bless him and make him a great nation. Soon after that God opens her eyes and she sees a well of water and immediately she goes over and fill the bottle up full of water for her son. As the boy grew God stayed with him and watched him grow up to become an archer. (Read Genesis 21:15-20)

This story is powerful if we look at it closely. When we are down to our last God will make a way out of no way. We all have moments like Hagar. Wondering around in the world with nothing but if we put our faith in God He will never let us down. He will always provide for us in our time of need. He won’t let us go without for long when we faithful seek Him and His will. So, if you are experiencing a hardship or a bump in the road don’t sit around and cry and be mad at the world seek God. He is here for us at any hour or any minute so let’s trust Him to restore us back to life. I know He’s has done it so many times for me and He’ll do the same for you! Be blessed and stay encouraged! ❤ ❤
